Ashley Plans to Furnish Alpharetta With a New Center
Ashley Furniture HomeStore, which opened their Alpharetta location this past summer, plans to add a small strip center to the outparcel of its property. New plans ToNeTo Atlanta recently obtained indicate that the retailer plans to construct a single nearly 10,000 square foot building that will include three tenants: two restaurants and one "retail." The center, "Ashley Pointe," will be located near the intersection of North Point Parkway and Haynes Bridge Road, near North Point Mall.

The plans show that at least one tenant is quick serve restaurant la Madeleine French Bakery & Cafe. The cafe will occupy the largest space, a nearly 5,000 square foot suite closest to the furniture store, that will also have a patio. The Dallas, Texas-based eatery currently has four locations in metro Atlanta and a pair of locations at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The chain's most recent location in Buford replaced a former TGI Friday's near Mall of Georgia, and opened last March.
The middle space will be about 2,400 square feet and will be occupied by a "retail" tenant which could mean anything from a nail salon to a cellular store.
The other restaurant space, measuring 2,500 square feet, will also have a patio and is likely to be another quick serve eatery. ToNeTo Atlanta correctly deduced the restaurant interested in the space, but as the lease has not been finalized, and out of respect to both parties, ToNeTo Atlanta will not be naming the restaurant until the ink is dry.
Are you excited to see la Madeleine open another location in metro Atlanta? What is your favorite "bakery cafe" concept? What "retail" tenant would you like to see open in the new center?
