Baby Love, a locally owned baby and kids boutique, has moved to from Grant Park to the Tucker area. The store, formerly located at 465 Boulevard, reopened August 12th at 2244 Henderson Mill Road, near Northlake Mall. Lauren Hise, the store's owner, first opened the shop in 2011 and decided to move to the Tucker area due in part to the fact that she was attracted to the Northlake/Tucker community and saw a need in the area for a store like hers. Baby Love specializes in maternity, baby and kids' (up to age 6) clothing, shoes and toys featuring products that are eco-friendly, recycled, organic and locally made. The shop also carries all natural soaps, detergents, and stain removers and reportedly offers the state's largest selection of cloth diapers. The store also offers a number of classes and workshops such as a complimentary "intro to cloth diaper" class at 10AM the first Saturday of every month. The new store, which measures about 2,400 square feet, is slightly larger than the Grant Park space, and even offers an enclosed playroom for kids to play in while parents or grandparents shop. Baby Love is open Tuesday through Sunday and is located in the small center across from Northlake Mall where Verizon used to be and Pizza Hut moved to, accessible from both Briarcliff Road and Henderson Mill Road.
