[UPDATE] Chick-fil-A Reopening on North Druid Hills, New Location in Braselton
Atlanta based Chick-fil-A will celebrate the opening of not one, but two locations on January 11. In Atlanta, Chick-fil-A will reopen its location at the corner of North Druid Hills and Briarcliff Roads after an approximately five month rebuilding process. The restaurant, described by Chick-fil-A as the first freestanding Chick-fil-A restaurant, originally opened April 16, 1986. Among the changes to the restaurant are the addition of an outdoor patio, an indoor playground and the re-orientation of the drive-thru window to be parallel with North Druid Hills rather than Briarciff.
In addition to the rebuilt Druid Hills restaurant, Chick-fil-A will open a completely new restaurant at 2600 Old Winder Highway in Braselton.
Both the Druid Hills and Braselton restaurants will offer patrons the opportunity to win free Chick-fil-A for a year as part of the company's "First 100" promotion.
A complete list of zip codes included in the First 100 promotion can be found here.

In late January, Chick-fil-A will open new locations near Decatur at phase 2 of Decatur Crossing and in Vine City. A rebuilt drive-thru-only (DTO) location is expected to debut in early February on Roswell Road, just north of Northridge Road, in Sandy Springs.
Privately held Chick-fil-A, Inc. was founded in 1967 by S. Truett Cathy. Today, there are more than 2,200 Chick-fil-A restaurants in 46 states and Washington D.C. Late next fall, Chick-fil-A will open their largest restaurant ever, a 12,000 square foot five story restaurant in New York's Financial District. According to QSR Magazine, Chick-fil-A's average unit volume (revenue per restaurant) was an astounding $4.4 million in 2016, making it the best performing quick serve chain, by a wide margin. Chick-fil-A system-wide sales [US only, with fewer hours then competing restaurants and only six days a week] reached nearly $8 billion in 2016.
